Phone numbers disappear during upload

Query:

My cast and crew list contains both email and phone numbers. During the upload process, both are listed but when editing is complete, some or all of the phone numbers are no longer there.

Answer:

Please use email addresses wherever possible.

The platform collects the minimum information needed. If an email address is provided in the uploaded data, the corresponding phone number is not saved.

Phone numbers are only used to initially contact a contributor when no email address is available.

Contributors who have only provided a phone number will be asked to provide an email address when they complete the survey.

Engagement works far better via email so please only provide a phone number when an individual can not provide an email address.
