Verify a project

As a security feature, Subscribers are required to confirm a project is a legitimate project by a quick reference to its description.

Production users are required to request project verification once they have registered their project. They nominate one subscriber who is also a funder of their production for this purpose.  

When a project verification request is made, the relevant subscriber user(s) are notified and must verify the project before the platform contacts that project's contributors. 

To verify a project

When a project requires verification the relevant verifier is notified by email. It is also listed in their Projects list as ‘Action Required’. To verify a project:

1. Click the project which requires action
2. Click the VERIFY or REJECT button as appropriate
